These organisations and individuals represent an unparalleled level of excellence in protecting the health, safety, and wellbeing of their global workforce.
Winners were selected by a panel of sector-leading expert judges1 from a host of internationally recognised organisations: the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), ASIS International, Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), The Employee Mobility Institute (TEMI), Great Place to Work, Gulf Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, Pan Asia Risk & Insurance Management Association (PARIMA)/ International Federation of Risk and Insurance Management Associations (IFRIMA), Risk Management Society and The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

COVID-19 AGILITY & RESPONSE: Oracle Entities in India
During the pandemic Oracle rose to the occasion, providing healthcare and safety to employees while ensuring business continuity. This submission is a glimpse of Oracle India’s efforts to demonstrate our humane and holistic approach to help employees and their families. It touches upon multiple strategies aimed at providing timely medical support to employees and their immediate family members, facilitating remote working and collaboration to support business continuity, and coping with the uncertainties. Processes and policies were tweaked to accommodate remote working yet remain efficient. These actions were designed and executed keeping in mind the long-term sustenance.
Comprehensive, cross-functional and full of care approach that included elements that were certainly inspired by the realities of the COVID-19 pandemic, but inspired the adoption and creation of benefits, programs and offerings that will be evergreen and support employees’ health, well-being, connection and wellness beyond COVID-19. I hope these stay in place for their people and inspire other organisations to do the same for theirs.

Sonepar is engaged in an unprecedented transition from a fully decentralized organisation to a more aligned one aiming at leveraging its strengths and deploying common standards – including on ESG matters – across the Group. Under the sponsorship of the Executive Committee led by CEO Philippe Delpech, a joint ESG Task Force was created in 2021. It gathers Sonepar’s Sustainability, Risk Management, Legal & Compliance, HR, and Cyber teams to:
- design and roll out the Group’s ESG strategy and roadmap and

Through a range of groundbreaking thought-leadership, CPD and IOSH accredited training and expert led events, the Foundation helps to share vital insight, understanding, and practical risk mitigation measures. All employees need to be protected, at home or away, and the COVID-19 pandemic has created an evolving and complex Duty of Care landscape for organisations to navigate.
The Foundation is a registered charity. Initially launched with a grant from International SOS in 2011, it is now an independent, non-profit organisation.
