International SOS is assisting impacted clients in New Caledonia due to protests and unrest. On 16 May a 12-day state of emergency was declared in New Caledonia’s capital Noumea, whilst other parts of the country are also being impacted by civil disturbance. The security environment remains challenging, and we are currently advising deferring all inbound travel and minimising non-essential movement for all those already within the country.
We encourage our clients to sign up for our latest situational alerts via email, through the Assistance App, or via our Online Portal.
