International SOS Supports Launch of Engineering Consultancy Wellbeing Guide

International SOS has collaborated with the Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE), Mott MacDonald, and other leading experts on the launch of a new wellbeing guide for the engineering consultancy sector. The comprehensive guide, Managing Wellbeing Risk – A Practical Guide for the Engineering Consultancy Sector, was launched on World Mental Health Day, October 10, 2024, marking a major step in the industry’s commitment to prioritising mental health at work.

Prioritising Mental Health: New Guide for Engineering Sector

The Managing Wellbeing Risk guide is a practical resource designed to help organisations in the engineering consultancy industry better manage wellbeing risks and improve mental health support for employees.

Dr. Rodrigo Rodgriguez Fernandes, Medical Director at International SOS, shared:

We help organisations to develop, grow and protect human capital at work and in life, for now and the future. Our products and services help our clients achieve their own sustainability goals and meet their reporting requirements.

This guide offers a framework to address workplace mental health challenges, including case studies and best practices from organisations of all sizes.

Comprehensive Wellbeing Strategies for Engineering Consultancy

The Managing Wellbeing Risk guide was developed through a collaborative industry effort.

  • It is the culmination of an event by the same name, which brought together experts and professionals from across the engineering consultancy sector to share experiences and discuss solutions to workplace wellbeing challenges.
  • The guide’s content was shaped by workshops and industry discussions, with input from wellbeing experts, and features a wide range of case studies illustrating how different organisations are addressing mental health in their workforce.
  • The guide is suitable for organisations at any stage of their wellbeing journey—whether just starting to address workplace mental health or already leaders in the field. It offers practical, scalable solutions to improve employee wellbeing, no matter the size of the organisation.
