Tim McShane is the Lead Security Analyst for North America and the Caribbean at International SOS. He is focused on providing operational and strategic intelligence for clientele with interest in the United States, Canada, and nations throughout the Caribbean Sea. Tim works closely with Security Specialists within the Global Threat Monitoring Centre to enable the production of high-value, accurate, and timely tactical intelligence in his region of expertise. Based in the regional security centre in Philadelphia, he collaborates closely with the Security Assistance and Operations team.
Prior joining International SOS, Tim was an Associate Security Threat Analyst at FedEx where he provided security for the business’ logistics network as well as providing support for pilots and VIPs on their overseas travel. Prior to that, he worked as a Security Intelligence Analyst with a focus on sub-Saharan Africa at AIG, where he conducted tactical intelligence reporting and supported operations for clients operating throughout the continent., Tim is a veteran of the United States Navy, where he served as an Arabic Linguist and finished his service as a Petty Officer Second Class.
Tim received his bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Houston and his master's in international policy from Texas A&M University, both with honours.
