Mackenzie Grahek is a Security Manager on the International SOS Consulting & Solutions team based in Philadelphia. Mackenzie joined International SOS in 2020 and now leads a team of embedded travel risk managers and intelligence analysts across the United States, United Arab Emirates, and Singapore. She is a recognized expert in profile-specific security issues, with a particular focus on the traveling LGBTQ+ community. Mackenzie has shared her insights at prestigious events such as OSAC's 2024 Annual Briefing and the Global Security Exchange in 2023 and 2024.
In her role, Mackenzie also assists in planning and executing Crisis Management Tabletop Exercises, which are designed to enhance clients' preparedness for emergency situations. She collaborates closely with both internal and external stakeholders to create realistic scenarios, ensuring teams are well-equipped to respond to crises effectively. Mackenzie has also completed security visits to Mexico, Colombia, and Jordan to onboard security specialists, vet security provider and hotels, and deliver site security assessments.
Beyond her responsibilities at International SOS, Mackenzie serves as the Chair of the Global Security Pride and is a member of the GBTA's US Risk Committee. Mackenzie's unique combination of skills and experience brings a fresh perspective to the security industry, highlighting the importance of inclusivity and strategic risk management.
