Bill Malone
Security Director, Canada
William (Bill) Malone is a Security Director for Canada at International SOS bringing more than 30 years of leadership experience across corporate security, national security, international operations, law enforcement, critical infrastructure protection and enterprise risk. In his current role, he advises corporate and government clients on security strategy, threat and risk management, crisis preparedness, Duty of Care, travel and operational risk, workforce resilience and security governance.
Bill has spent his career helping organizations and senior leaders navigate complex risk environments. His experience spans the public and private sectors, including security leadership at Nasdaq Verafin and a distinguished career with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), where he held senior roles across national security, organized crime, intelligence, anti-terrorist financing and international policing.
Bill’s career has taken him into some of the world’s more challenging operating environments, including assignments in Afghanistan, Haiti and Niger, as well as advisory work with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in southern Africa. This combination of executive, operational and international experience has shaped a pragmatic approach to security, one that connects risk management directly to organizational resilience, business priorities and informed decision-making.
