Travelling to Mali: How to Prepare and What to Expect

A team from International SOS recently travelled to Mali to assess the country's security situation, viable ports of departure, accommodation options and provider capability. Although we rate the capital Bamako as MEDIUM risk, we rate the rest of the country as HIGH and EXTREME risk due to challenges posed by militancy, conflict and kidnap.
