MEDIKER and International SOS Sign Strategic Partnership Agreement

MEDIKER and International SOS partnership

On May 20, 2026, within the framework of the international KIHE 2026 exhibition in Almaty, International SOS and MEDIKER signed a strategic partnership agreement.

The signing of the agreement marks an important milestone in the development of international healthcare cooperation and opens new opportunities for enhancing the quality of medical services and advancing medical assistance capabilities in Kazakhstan.

International SOS is a global leader in medical evacuation, repatriation, and travel assistance services, operating in more than 90 countries and supporting multinational corporations, diplomatic missions, and organizations worldwide.

MEDIKER Group is Kazakhstan’s national leader in private healthcare, insurance medicine, and occupational health services, with an extensive network of clinics, advanced medical infrastructure, and significant expertise in diagnostics, treatment, corporate healthcare, medical assistance, and voluntary health insurance.

As part of the partnership, the parties plan to cooperate in the following areas:

  • provision of medical services to International SOS clients through MEDIKER’s clinical infrastructure in Kazakhstan and beyond;
  • development of international medical coordination and client support services;
  • organization of medical evacuation and patient routing;
  • servicing foreign nationals and corporate clients in accordance with international approaches and quality standards;
  • exchange of expertise and implementation of international best practices in medicine, service excellence, and quality management;
  • obtaining International SOS international certification.
The partnership with International SOS is built on the unique competencies of both parties, leveraging MEDIKER’s strengths in clinical processes, medical infrastructure, and the company’s ability to provide high-quality healthcare services in line with international standards.

MEDIKER’s international recognition is reflected in its participation in leading professional and business associations. Since 2021, MEDIKER has been the first and only full member of the International Hospital Federation (IHF) from Kazakhstan and actively participates in international forums, educational initiatives, and analytical programs, including hospital management initiatives.

MEDIKER management noted,
MEDIKER consistently develops international cooperation and integrates sustainable development principles into its operations. Participation in the UN Global Compact, as well as membership in EUROBAK, CCI FRANCE Kazakhstan, and ESG National Club Kazakhstan, reflects the company’s commitment to meeting high international standards, advancing ESG approaches, and strengthening partnerships within the professional community.

In its operations, MEDIKER follows international quality and safety standards, as well as World Health Organization recommendations, ensuring a high level of medical care and alignment with global best practices.

Through this partnership, patients, foreign nationals, and corporate clients will gain broader access to international medical coordination, support, and International SOS services both within Kazakhstan and internationally.

Myles Neri, Group Medical Director at International SOS, said,

For International SOS, cooperation with MEDIKER establishes a reliable foundation for the further development of support and assistance services for corporate and private clients in Kazakhstan, thanks to MEDIKER’s extensive medical network, advanced clinical capabilities, high-quality standards, and significant experience working with the corporate sector,

By combining the global expertise of International SOS with MEDIKER’s capabilities, the parties are creating a strong foundation for the further development of medical services, enhancement of healthcare quality, and broader patient access to modern medical solutions.
