Talley Sjoberg-Varney is an Emotional Health Counselor and Subject Matter Expert specializing in mental health and well-being. She works globally with International SOS, providing clinical consultations, private coaching, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and the design and delivery of workshops and webinars for diplomatic, corporate, and educational settings.

With more than 15 years of experience, Talley has built a global portfolio across six countries, delivering client-centered care in diverse cultural contexts. Originally from the United States, she spent seven years serving the Navajo Nation in Arizona as a counselor and social worker, where she was honored with the Indian Health Service Commitment to Children Award. Her early career also includes work in refugee health and education. She has lived and worked in the United States, Thailand, Georgia, China, and Slovakia, and is currently based in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Talley holds a Michigan social work license and a U.S. teaching license, along with certifications in life, employee, and management coaching. She is trained in Solution-Focused Therapy and developmental screening, and is a registered clinical aromatherapist serving as Central Asia Director for the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy. She holds MBSR certifications from both the United States and Denmark. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Philosophy and Psychoanalysis with a focus on death, dying, and bereavement within highly mobile and nomadic expatriate communities.

Her work with International SOS integrates holistic and evidence-based approaches, with expertise in adjustment, burnout and international living. She collaborates across disciplines and cultures, and is frequently invited to deliver keynote presentations. Talley provides both in-person care in Almaty and telehealth services globally.
