Dr John Luh

Dr. John Luh is a neurosurgeon and Medical Director for Assistance Services, Asia at International SOS. He holds an MD and PhD from National Taiwan University (NTU) and completed neurosurgical training at NTU Hospital.
His expertise includes cerebrovascular diseases, neuro-oncology, traumatic neurocritical care, and robotic-assisted surgery. He previously served as Director of the Neurocritical Care Unit at Taipei Medical University - Shuang Ho Hospital and as an attending neurosurgeon at NTUH Hsinchu Branch.
Dr. Luh is an International Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (IFAANS) and completed a Biodesign research fellowship at Stanford University. He has authored 15 academic papers, received numerous medical awards, and contributes to healthcare quality as a committee member of the Joint Commission of Taiwan.
In his current role, he oversees cross-border emergency medical assistance and healthcare quality management across Asia, integrating his clinical, management, and international experience.
