Dr Athenais Sivaloganathan is the Health Adviser for Health & Wellbeing at International SOS, based in Singapore. She leads the development of Wellbeing programmes for the Asia region, working closely with the Asia Wellbeing team to support client engagement, programme design, and regional delivery. With a diverse ASEAN and European heritage, Dr Athenais grew up in Malaysia before pursuing her education and medical career in Sydney, Australia.
She spent five years with the NSW Government Health System, rotating through major medical and surgical specialties, including rural and remote hospital settings.
Dr Athenais gained further experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Liverpool and Bowral Hospitals, managing high-risk pregnancies, gynaecological emergencies, and outpatient care in resource-limited environments. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she continued her clinical work in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department at Liverpool Hospital.
Dr Athenais holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and a medical degree from Sydney, Australia. She is passionate about women’s health, health systems, and non-communicable disease management.
