Jonathan Gould is the Regional Security Manager for Switzerland at International SOS. In his role, Jonatahan is a trusted security partner to organizations operating in complex and challenging environments, providing strategic advice and operational support across travel risk management, crisis management, security intelligence, and organizational resilience.

Jonathan brings extensive experience across government, security, intelligence, and corporate environments. Prior to joining International SOS, he served Switzerland in a range of crisis management, intelligence, and operational capacities across the Federal Departments of Foreign Affairs and Defence.

Most recently, he was Deputy Head of the Crisis Management Centre at the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, where he contributed to the management of international crises affecting Swiss citizens, interests, and personnel worldwide.

Jonathan also served with the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA), where he was deployed to northern Mali as Deputy Chief of the Intelligence Cell, leading analysis of security threats and terrorist armed groups operating in the Sahel. Throughout his career, he has supported the management of complex security incidents, including crisis response, high-risk evacuations, and kidnap-for-ransom cases.

In parallel to his civilian career, Jonathan is a Captain in the active reserve of the Swiss Armed Forces, where he has held leadership appointments including Company Commander.

Earlier in his career, Jonathan worked in wealth management at UBS, where he advised private clients and developed strong experience in stakeholder engagement, client advisory, and relationship management.

Jonathan holds a Master of Arts in International Security and Terrorism from the University of Nottingham and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Geneva.
