Charlotte Denman (Charlie) is the Senior Crisis Management Lead, Northern Europe for Consulting Europe & Africa, based in the London office. In this role, Charlie is responsible for driving strategic growth, revenue generation, and operational excellence as part of the Crisis Management Practice. With a primary focus on Northern Europe, and a wider remit supporting activities across Europe and Africa, Charlie also contributes to the evolution of crisis management products and services and leads all Business Continuity Management-related matters for the Crisis Management Practice.
Prior to joining International SOS, Charlie built her expertise across government and corporate entities. Working in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet of the New Zealand Government, she led national-level crises responses, operational resilience initiatives, and large-scale emergency operations, with international experience across the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and other regions. Earlier, as Evacuation and Risk Lead with the New Zealand Embassy, she led the evacuation of more than 800 people from Afghanistan during the fall of Kabul. On the corporate side, as Operational Resilience Manager at Bank of Ireland UK, she strengthened crisis response and resilience testing under PRA/FCA regulatory requirements, translating national-level crisis experience into the regulated private sector.
Charlie holds a Bachelor of Commerce in International Business from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. She brings extensive experience in crisis leadership, stakeholder engagement, and operational resilience, with a strong track record of strengthening organizational preparedness and delivering practical solutions in complex, high-pressure environments.
