We were approached by the Global HR Director for a multinational professional services company. Their team was overwhelmed by requests for COVID-19 information and advice. They were particularly concerned about the sources of information and advice that their employees were using. They wanted their employees worldwide to have equitable access to a trusted source tailored to the needs of business.
International SOS helped the HR team to quickly put in place a Workforce Resilience programme. It provided COVID-19 support also also helped them mitigate any future risks too.
The company now provides all their employees with access to the International SOS Assistance App & Portal. Now if they receive a query or incident an employee cannot handle themselves, their country general managers and HR managers can call an International SOS Assistance Centre in their location to speak directly to a health or security expert.
The HR team were delighted at the speed they were able to put the new support service in place. Their employees are empowered to make preventative decisions that are borne from a trusted source. Managers are empowered to make faster decisions; that can protect and save lives.
Furthermore, their managers can now deliver regular (or ad-hoc) service utilisation and incident case reports to their C-Suite. Providing clear measures of the benefits of their new approach.
