Noriko Takasaki

Noriko Takasaki is the Lead Security Analyst, North Asia, based in Tokyo. In her role, she is responsible for operational and strategic information, analysis and assessment deliverables for North Asia. Noriko works closely with Security Specialists within the Global Threat Monitoring Centre to enable the production of high-value, accurate, and timely tactical intelligence in her region of expertise. Prior to this, Noriko, as the Security Director, led the Security Assistance team in and oversaw the operational delivery of Risk Management, Incident Management, Advisory and Crisis Response services across Asia.
Prior to joining International SOS in September 2015, Noriko has worked for over eight years in international humanitarian and developmental assistance with International NGOs and the Red Cross/Red Crescent, both at headquarters and in the field locations, including several countries in Africa. She has also provided support to other natural disaster and conflict response worldwide.
Noriko holds a BA (Joint Hons) in Management Studies and Psychology from the University of Leeds, and Master’s degree in Conflict, Security and Development from King’s College London.
