Over the past few months, we have witnessed numerous crises, extreme weather events, and conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East.

Even in 2024, a super election year where more than half of the world’s population across 40 countries will head to the polls, tensions do not seem to be easing. Simultaneously, the peak travel season is approaching, exposing employees to potential risks.

The topic of ‘duty of care and travel risk management’ is gaining prominence in HR departments, particularly concerning employees traveling on business trips or assignments abroad. In collaboration with the BPM (Bundesverband der Personalmanager e.V.).

About the Webinar

During this event, Dr. Stefan Eßer, Medical Director for Central Europe, and Wolfgang Hofmann, Regional Security Manager at International SOS, will discuss how companies can better prepare themselves for travel-related challenges and address the following topics:

  1. Duty of Care: How does the responsibility of companies shift during the permacrisis?
  2. Travel Risk Management: What components make up a comprehensive travel risk management program, and how can the recently published ISO 31030 guidelines contribute?
  3. Risk Assessment: What factors should be taken into account when assessing risks related to foreign travel and assignments?
  4. Occupational Health Precautions: We will introduce the International SOS country list, which outlines recommended measures for safe travel abroad.

If you have any questions in advance that you’d like us to cover during the web meeting, please feel free to email us at germany@internationalsos.com. We look forward to hearing from you and your participation in the web meeting.
