Our Al Rushaid clinic team set up a vaccination facility within 96 hours to administer vaccines to employees of one of its key clients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
Following an announcement by the Ministry of Health in KSA requiring mandatory vaccination for those entering the workplace, a large engineering corporation required a rapid turnkey vaccination solution. Specifically, they wanted to administer COVID-19 and Flu vaccines to their population of 4,500 remote site workers located at the site of the Mansourah & Massarah Gold Project. Delivering an early vaccination programme was crucial to the success of the project. It would not only help the corporation comply with local regulations but also enable it to operate with limited interruption and ensure the continued provision of a safe and healthy working environment.
To address our client’s needs, and to minimise disruption to their operations, International SOS – Al Rushaid set up a vaccination facility in the non-core area of the project site. A total of three vaccination rooms were mobilised within 96 hours, including installation of equipment, delivery of medicines and consumables, the delivery of onsite medical consultations and the provision of Advanced Life Support (ALS) capabilities.
We provided an end-to-end solution that included strategic health advice, medical and administrative staffing through our Clinic in Dammam, cold chain management, vaccination roll-out and monitoring, and vaccination data registration with local authorities. As a result, we provided our client with a fast and tailored solution that enabled it to meet the KSA government’s evolving regulations, address their own employees’ needs for vaccinations, help them maximise their productivity and minimise lost time.
