San Marino citizens and permanent residents who are unable to present a COVID-19 vaccination certificate, a certificate of successful recovery from COVID-19 within the previous six months, or a PCR test taken within 48 hours before arrival can contact the ISS Analytical Laboratory before their return in order to undergo a molecular or antigenic test within 48 hours of their return. Travellers will bear the cost for the test.

Children under ten years of age do not need to comply with testing requirement.

Masks are mandatory in public places. Workers in the private and public sectors who have been vaccinated are exempt from the obligation to wear a mask.
