Welcome to Cornell University's Global Risk Management and Assistance Program

Call International SOS for Assistance: +1-215-942-8478

Cornell partners with International SOS to provide eligible Cornell students, faculty, and staff with 24/7 medical, emotional, security and evacuation services. To expedite assistance, it?s vital, and in most cases required, that you register your international Cornell travel at https://travelregistry.cornell.edu/

Rest assured that when you travel internationally on Cornell business, you have a 24/7 resource on call, online and via the mobile app to help with any medical, security and logistical questions, concerns and situations that may arise. If you need a medical referral, seek pre-travel advice, or experience a medical or security crisis, Cornell University has a fully integrated program in place, through which you receive the care and expertise that you need, whenever and wherever you need it.

Take advantage of this powerful resource by calling an International SOS assistance center, which has physicians, multilingual coordinators, operations managers, logistics support personnel, and medical and security professionals on hand to speak with you.

Also, prepare yourself by browsing through our various medical and security online tools and signing up for our alerts.

NOTE: It is important to understand that although International SOS offers you travel, medical, and security advice and services, this is a travel assistance program. International SOS will coordinate medical and emergency services with our accident/sickness insurance provider, but please take the time to inform yourself on the benefits offered. If you anticipate the need for additional care (routine or preventative) while abroad, you should speak with your current insurance provider to understand your existing benefits and options.
