Brown University

Welcome to Brown University's Global Risk Management and Assistance Program

All Brown University faculty, staff, and students traveling globally on Brown sponsored programs are provided with Study/Travel Abroad Accident and Sickness Insurance, as well as emergency medical, security and travel assistance, all of which is serviced by International SOS. International SOS is the world's largest medical and security assistance company, with more than 3,500 professionals in 24-hour Assistance Centers, international clinics and remote-site medical facilities across five continents.
If you travel outside of the U.S., take your International SOS card (available for download) with you and download the International SOS Assistance App. The Assistance App provides quick access to services as well as an easy way to "check in" to your location as you travel. Also, review important medical and safety information about the country to which you are traveling. We encourage you to learn more about the Program Benefits and to find answers to Frequently Asked Questions.
