Travel Tips for the Senior Citizens
Senior citizens need to be mindful of the following while travelling:
- Careful Planning of travel itinerary.
- Less ambitious, more rest time in between
- More stopovers with plenty of rest
- Reduce need to walk a lot at locations
- Avoid physical demanding activities e.g. climbing up hills, steep steps, ladders
- Plan for contingency.
- Avoid countries with poor medical facilities or remote locations.
- Pre-travel medical check up and check for vaccination.
- Stock up in medications (for those with chronic illness). Carry medications in hand luggage.
