Duty of Care Webinar (Australasia)

How do you fulfill Duty of Care obligations to your staff?

  • Do you understand what legislation impacts your organisation's policies?
  • Are your travelling staff and assignees impacted by local legislation in the host country?
  • Do you believe Duty of Care is a moral, rather than a legal obligation?

Program highlights

You are invited to join International SOS, Professor Claus and legal experts Steve Bell from Freehills, Australia and a New Zealand legal expert (TBA) for a discussion group on the questions above.

The session will cover:

  • An overview of why Duty of Care is a topic of interest for global organisations
  • Legal opinion on current Duty of Care obligations and what it means for management
  • Presentation of helpful tools and checklists to assist companies with implementing successful risk management program

In addition, a new White Paper authored by Dr Lisbeth Claus, Ph.D will be available after the webinar. The executive summary of the Paper titled, "Duty of Care of Employers for Protecting International Assignees, their Dependants and International Business Travellers", can be obtained by emailing rebecca.malzacher@internationalsos.com.
