International SOS established a presence in Guinea in 2008, to support client on-site operations. Over the last four years, International SOS has expanded its operations across Guinea to help organizations manage the risks of their global workforce and fulfill their duty of care.
The team in Guinea, with the support of the regional Medical Services teams and the assistance centres of Paris and London, currently delivers the following services:
- full-scale health program design and management
- site surveys and consultancy services
- procurement of medical equipment and supplies
- medical staffing and training (local and internationally sourced professionals)
- occupational health programs, health check-ups, and vaccination programs
- malaria programs
- first-aid kits and first-aid training for client's staff
- emergency assistance services in remote areas
- travel for treatment programs
- full registration for international medical staff capability
We also coordinate global medical, health and security services for travelers requiring assistance and support outside of Guinea, with the help of our Paris Assistance Centre.
International SOS Guinea has more than 40 employees including expatriate and Guinean doctors, paramedics, nurses, pharmacists and numerous other medical and operational personnel.
Liberia and Sierra Leone
The team in Guinea with the support of the regional Medical Services teams and the assistance centres of Paris and London is also supporting our clients on-site operations in Sierra-Leone and Liberia. In such challenging places, our proximity to the field was instrumental in developing a strong and reliable network of providers to deliver health and security assistance services.
