After arriving in St. Maarten, John Friel begins to feel extremely ill. After calling International SOS, doctors in Philadelphia decide it is best to evacuate him to a hospital in the United States. Mr. Friel is flown on an International SOS air ambulance with a doctor, ER nurse and respiratory therapist to Philadelphia.
