Security Warning Situation Warnings are the next level up from the Situation Update. Warnings are driven by a specific event that has made the threat level in a particular country increase. A Warning indicates that non-essential travel should be postponed or cancelled. Each Warning is updated daily or as the situation evolves in the country of concern. The Warning will include recommendations based on risk, political conditions, presence of SOS members’ in-country and possible method of evacuation. International SOS recommendations regarding security and travel plans are also summarized.
