Started in 1998, International SOS is the only 24-hour global, emergency travel, medical, security and remote site assistance company with a direct presence in India. We employ over 40 full-time staff and operate out of two offices in New Delhi and Mumbai.
Our New Delhi 24-hour alarm center employs state-of-the-art telecommunications equipment and trained personnel to provide assistance to our members. Every year, we handle more than 10,000 cases and coordinate over 100 medical air evacuations. This makes us by far the largest medical assistance and air evacuation company in India.
We have a comprehensively, credentialed nationwide network of medical and related service providers that gives us the ability to refer, admit and monitor patients on a cashless basis in all centers of medical excellence across the country.
We are the preferred assistance company for most expatriates, travelers, diplomatic missions, remote project sites, international travel insurers and an extensive base of multinational organizations that subscribe to our membership services.
Our in-house medical, security and operations specialists rank among the most well-trained and experienced professionals available in the country. Not only are they activated during a crisis or an emergency; they are also available to undertake specialized projects such as training, surveys, audits and events.
Our staff have extensive and hands-on experience in crisis management and have been mobilized to provide on-the-ground assistance during 9/11, SARS, Bird Flu, Tsunami and many other crisis flashpoints around the world.
We are members of CII, FICCI, NASSCOM and other important business councils and associate bodies, and participate very actively in seminars, conferences and meetings. We interact with business leaders to promote the idea of managing business risk in a global environment.
We are formally registered and a certified brigade of the Red Cross in India and provide an extensive range of first-aid training programs.
